To be with the woman he loved, legendary Archmage Elliot gave up his inheritance and concealed his true identity to help his wife build a magical academy. After sacrificing himself in a kidnapping and enduring three years of captivity, he returns home only to find that his wife and daughter have replaced him with Cedric, the man he once saved. Betrayed and heartbroken, Elliot walks away from his family, reclaims his position as the supreme master of the continent's greatest magic sanctuary, and begins a new life. As long-buried truths come to light, his wife and daughter realize they have lost the one man who loved and protected them most—but their regret comes far too late.
