Sinopsis Oppose families that favor sons over daughters

Xu Jia was influenced by her feisty mother from a young age, so she developed a strong and tough personality that was not easy to mess with. After marriage, her rural mother-in-law caused trouble for the pregnant Xu Jia when she first arrived, only to be forcefully confronted and shamed by Xu Jia's mother and her sister gang. After the in-laws became wealthy from a property demolition, they intensified their pressure to have a son, openly imposing this expectation at banquets. Xu Jia did not back down and retaliated with tough words, exposing the selfish nature of her in-laws. Facing her husband Wang Jian's tacit consent and scheming, she confronted him openly, ultimately making Wang Jian face reality, give up his preference for a son, and allowing her to take control of family decisions through her own strength, living freely and uninhibited.
