Helen believes Philip is only a kindhearted plumber, unaware that he is actually most powerful chairman of Haywood Group. As she faces humiliation from her in-laws, greedy relatives, and even a cruel kidney scam, Philip quietly stands by her and protects her. Through every betrayal, Helen slowly finds the love and family she thought she had lost. In the end, Justin chooses his mother, Philip reveals his true identity, and Sera is revealed to be Helen's long-lost daughter, Brenda.
